Rora loves to swing

Aurora used to hate her swing until she figured out

how to pump herself. It is so cute, she gets her leg

around the first bar to get to the stationary bar and

pushes with her foot until she gets going pretty fast,

then she stops herself and starts over again.

Hair trouble.

I decided to try to get rid of Aurora's dry scalp by rubbing Vaseline on it and then washing it out with shampoo. (I got the idea from the book I am reading.) The only thing is that she has so much hair that it took like 40 washes to get all that gunk out of her hair! Aurora was happy because she loves getting her hair washed. We still hadn't gotten all of the gunk out when we were going to Ikea so we stuck a hat over her crazy hair so that she wouldn't be embarrassed. The good news is that it really did help her flaky scalp.

Aurora smiles most of the time when I do this, and On Sunday, for the first time She really giggled.

Erik came home the other day ,and as soon as he picked her up. She just wouldn't stop starring at him. It was so cute. She is so good at lifting her head up.

Ten years ago I was. . .
I was 13 years old and just starting 8th grade at Andersen Junior High. I enjoyed school, played lots of softball for both school and city league, and had a huge crush on Jared Belnap. (Michelle don't laugh, ok you can laugh) Mostly living through the ups and downs of a young teen.

We went to Church for Aurora's first time Today. She looks so cute in her dress.

Aurora loves to sleep (when she does). She will smile and we have heard a few giggles, but that is mostly after she leaves a present for you in her diaper.

Well, we have finally broke down and created a blog. We just had to show off our new baby girl, Aurora Dawn! She was born July 18, 2008 and was a healthy 9 lbs 1.5 oz and 22 in. long.
